TBTMS Audio App
Account & Data Deletion
Last updated: June 28, 2026
The Bible Tells Me So ("TBTMS," "we," "our," or "us") gives every account holder full control over their account and personal data in the TBTMS Audio App ("the App"). This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data when you do. Because accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian, the person who created the account can delete it at any time.
1. Delete your account from within the App (recommended — takes effect immediately)
You can permanently delete your account directly in the App:
-
Open the TBTMS Audio App and make sure you are signed in.
-
Tap the account (face) icon at the top of the screen — it appears on the Home, Listen, Favorites, and Playlists pages.
-
In the account menu that appears, tap "Delete Account."
-
Read the confirmation message and confirm. You will be asked to confirm because this action cannot be undone.
Your account and all associated personal data are deleted immediately.
2. What is deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
-
Your sign-in account (email address and login credentials)
-
Your profile information (display name and profile photo, if provided)
-
Your Favorites
-
Your Playlists and their contents
We also remove any songs you downloaded for offline listening from your
device when you sign out or uninstall the App. Downloaded files are
stored only on your device — they are never uploaded to us.
3. What is NOT kept
The App does not store per-user listening history or playback tracking, so there is no behavioral data to delete. We do not use advertising, and we do not sell or share personal data. Deleting your account removes all of your personal data together; there is no separate "delete some data but keep the account" option.
4. Request deletion without using the App
If you are unable to sign in or cannot use the in-App option, you can ask us to delete your account by email:
-
Email: mail@thebibletellsmeso.com
-
Subject: "Delete my TBTMS Audio App account"
-
Please send your request from, or include, the email address used for the account so we can verify and locate it.
5. Timeline
-
In-App deletion: your account and personal data are deleted immediately.
-
Email request: we will complete the deletion within 30 days of verifying your request.
Copies of data may persist for a short time in routine encrypted backups maintained by our cloud provider (Google Firebase) before they are overwritten in the normal course of operation.
